Air Bag Product Liability Lawsuit

In Hidalgo County, Texas, Michael Caddell, Cynthia Chapman, and John Scofield settled a product liability lawsuit against General Motors pertaining to the air bag system of its 1992 Geo Metro. Plaintiffs alleged that the Metro’s air bag caused a driver’s death following a side impact collision; the air bag should not have deployed or, in the alternative, that the Metro’s air bag system was overly aggressive.…

Maquilladora Bus Accident

Michael Caddell and Cynthia Chapman were lead counsel for 26 passengers who were killed and/or injured in a tragic bus accident near Brownsville, Texas. A school bus was being used to transport workers from Mexico to a clothing manufacturing plant when the bus swerved to avoid a collision.
